WX001 is a former Detective Sergeant with over 30 years’ service in An Garda Síochána, bringing exceptional experience in serious and complex investigations. He has led and supervised major cases across a wide range of crime, including homicide, fraud, and organised criminal activity. As well as the above, over his 30 years’ service he has gained vast experience while investigating, Cyber Crime, Theft and Money laundering Offences, also numerous serious and sensitive cases involving Sexual and Domestic Violence Offences. 

Widely respected for his investigative judgement and leadership, WX001 is a Level 4 qualified interviewer who has advised on interview strategy in high-profile cases and contributed to the training and assessment of investigators at Garda College level.

He has extensive experience preparing complex case files for the Director of Public Prosecutions and delivering evidence across all court levels. Known for his calm authority, precision, and professionalism, WX001 delivers clear, structured, and court-ready outcomes in even the most demanding investigations.
